INTRODUCTION

Since November 2001, I give myself naturally and daily the following constraints: 1. to be photographed when rising from the bed2. to take a photograph of the window of the place where one slept 3. to take a photograph of any living being and eventual interactions with that being 4. to take a photograph of any act of writing 5. to take a photograph of any objects with which there is interaction 6. to take a photograph in each place and sub-parts of a place 7. to be photographed in each place and sub-parts of a place 8. to a photograph of any unusual event 9. to take as many photographs as possible 10. not to make "cute" photographs 11. a third person can take photographs 12. note down the specific time of each photograph All these photographs are filed in a data base and thus recall my daily in detail. More than a journal, this daily database plays the role of an "active" memory from which I can draw when my natural memory is missing. Adam is not the exhibition of this memory. Realized for "Copyleft Demo", organized by Antoine Moreau in January 2002 at Paris (France), it is an attempt to represent what connects us all. Another way of apprehending to approach the history of a network. I invite any voluntary person to take part, by respecting or modifying the constraints which I propose, for one or more days. Thus, whoever, your history will participate in the representation of a modest piece of reality.
